Our portfolio

Soon we'll have pretty images and examples of our fine work. But for now, enjoy the best stock photos that the template's creator could find.

Our services

We're all about the written word. Don't tarnish your communications, app, or documentation with pretty words but crappy text. Writing is an art. Lucky for you, an artist is in residency.

Copywriting

Customer emails, push notifications, and app text that reflect your brand's identity and voice. Don't trust your project to AI (Skynet didn't turn out so well, did it?).

Documentation

Internal or customer-facing documentation that doesn't leave people hanging. Consistently clear, easy-to-follow instructions get people through tasks and reduces your support costs.

Americanized copy

Does your copy "sound" native? We specialize in converting foreign written "English" copy into true American copy. No matter where in the world you are, we'll make your copy sound like a trusted neighbor in Anytown USA.

Who we are

With more than 25 years of experience crafting compelling content, we excel at translating technical jargon into engaging, brand-aligned content. We offer UX writing expertise spaning web, mobile, and living room devices for high-volume applications and services with a global audience. Incorporate brand voice into customer journeys leading to increased engagement and satisfaction.

Our process

Let's chat. Are we Oates to your Hall? Tennille to your Captain? We'll scope out your needs, set a reallistic timeline, and discuss deliverables. There's also that pesky matter of money, but polite people don't talk about that in public.

Our approach

We have to get it to write it. We'll work with you to understand your needs and what you're trying to communicate. Then, the magic happens. We turn that stew of ideas and half-written content into something that even your most-demanding customers will like.

Our goal

We really hate bad copy. Really. Your Program or Product Manager isn't a plumber so why would you ask them to fix your sink? So why would you ask them to be a writer producing content for your customers? Let us take care of the copy. We don't do plumbing, though.

Our mission

We love words. Words are power. We want to put that power to work for you to inform, promote, and help your customers.

Brains not brawn

When it comes down to getting your project done right the first time, do you want flash and hype or time-tested experience?

The Head Writer

Chief Wordsmith

He's produced content for audiences of hundreds of millions rivaled only by the Bible and Koran (and maybe Steven King). After start ups and decades at Microsoft and Amazon, you get years of professional experience.

Our latest ramblings

Everyone's got an ... opinion. Some are better than others. We have a website, so we're already way ahead of you.

Are there two ls in canceled?

Only at the airport on the flight status monitors. In the U.S., "canceled" and "canceling" have only one l. Elsewhere, it has two. "Cancellation" always has two wherever you are.

Is his or her sexist?

While your 5th grade teach might object, it's no longer standard to use "his or her" in copy. Even through grammar discplinarians insist "their" is for plural usage only, you may use it for singular scenarios.

Can you create a new?

No. Create a new is redundant. Create in itself means the act of something new being created.

While we would love to talk about all things words and your project (if it has words), we are currently not taking on new assignments.
